Sevres coffee cup & saucer 1806
This cup & saucer, part of a larger cabaret service was offered in October 1806 to the Prince of Benevento, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the marriage of Princess Stéphanie de Beauharnais and the Prince of Baden.

History & Context
This tasse et soucoup was offered in October 1806 to the Prince of Benevento, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the marriage of Princess Stéphanie de Beauharnais and the Prince of Baden (Vbb2, fol. 64 and Vy17, fol. 38).
Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord was named Prince of Bénévent by the Emperor in 1806.
