I’s crowned N cipher, associated with the Tuileries Palace.
Description
A plain metal table spoon associated with the Tuileries Palace, the principal Paris residence of Napoleon during the First Empire. The broad oval bowl is joined to a simple, slightly tapering stem boldly inscribed “TUILERIES.”, while the terminal bears a crowned letter N, the imperial cipher of Napoleon.
